Part-Time Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs)
📍 Public Elementary & Junior High Schools – Setagaya, Tokyo

Achievegoal is expanding its teaching team and is looking for passionate and dedicated Part-time Assistant Language Teachers to support English education in public schools in the Setagaya area. If you love teaching and enjoy working with students, this opportunity is for you!

Position Details

🕒 Part-Time | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (7 hours work and 1 hour lunch break, depending on school schedule)
📍 Setagaya, Tokyo
🚆 Must live within 1 hour and 30 minute commuting distance
📄 Visa sponsorship available (for qualified applicants)
💼 Start Date: April 2026
💰 Salary: 2000 yen/ hour

Transportation expenses: Up to 1,000 yen per day

 Responsibilities

• Assist English classes together with the Japanese Teacher (JTE)
• Lead speaking and communication activities
• Help create lesson plans and teaching materials
• Support school events and English-related programs
• Maintain good communication with school staff and Achievegoal coordinators

Requirements

• Filipino nationality
• Currently residing in Japan, within 1 hour from Setagaya, Tokyo
• College graduate (Education, English, or related courses preferred)
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)
• Teaching License (Philippines) and/or TESOL Certification
• Minimum 2 years classroom or ESL teaching experience
• Experience working with children
• Responsible, punctual, and a good team player
• Enjoys working in a multicultural environment
• No Japanese language required
